Meter Safety means focus!  

Coming home safely at the end of EVERY day is what your family wants from you, just as you want to know that your family has survived their day too, right?  There are far too many stories about workers not wearing PPEs and thinking that they are capable of doing a job 'real quick' because they've "always been okay" again, and again, the next job went okay, and the next ,until one day: FLASH!  Reality strikes and your life (and the lives of those you love) is changed FOREVER!! 

Be Safe All Ways! Means: All Ways!! At home, work, or play... Where are you? Your environment, the atmosphere, your state of mind. Think about where you are. Know what you are doing and be aware! For example: When doing voltage tests: do you "Look around? Where is Ground?"

I enjoy hearing stories of how someone got their nickname. The ones that stick. I myself have had many nicknames since I was a child from my father who was always calling me by other names than the one on my birth certificate.  In turn, as I became a father, I too had fun nicknames for my kids and grandkids.
